Founder's Story — Six Hand Spade™

Spades has always been more than a game to me. Each match overflowed with laughter, strategy, and the playful anticipation of discovering who would rise as the next champion. From an early age, I was captivated by the energy around the table, watching my uncles and aunts—top‑ranked players in our circle—compete fiercely yet joyfully.

At the center of it all was my father. His mastery, confidence, and passion drew players from every direction, each eager to test their skills against him. His presence lit a spark in me, inspiring a dream I carried quietly for years: to create my own custom deck and patent a unique variation of the game we loved.

And I did it. I took the traditional Spades we grew up on and innovated, refined, and transformed it into the Six-Hand Spade™ Card Game—a fresh twist born from culture, competition, and family pride.

This game carries the spirit of those gatherings: the camaraderie, the banter, the strategy, and the joy that made our family moments unforgettable. It’s more than a deck of cards. It’s a legacy. A tribute. A living celebration of the man who started it all.

Joker Ace, the mastermind behind the six-hand spade game, holds the patent and reigns as its creator. Joker King, Mr. Melvin—a proud father and soulful gospel singer—lifts spirits with his voice. Joker Queen, the incomparable Nicole Wray, known as Lady Wray, is an American singer-songwriter whose 1998 debut single Make It Hot achieved gold certification. Joker Jack, a retired veteran and the love of my life, carries a legacy of strength and devotion.
